T3 Emulator Test Version 0.5
============================

This archive contains a test version of the T3 emulator. All versions
of T3 will require at least an 80386 CPU and 100% register compatible
VGA video card. You cannot run T3 at all if your PC does not meet this
specification.

This is the third public release. Work on T3 has now stopped, but the
project has not been abandoned. It's simply paused until I have time
to return to it.

Release notes for version 0.5:

 * Joysticks should now work correctly with Tandy CoCo emulation.

Release notes for version 0.4:

 * T3 does not detect your hardware - make sure that it meets the required
      specification!
 * Do not type the names of cassette files on the command line - you will
      instead be prompted when necessary.
 * Run T3.EXE from the same directory as a DGN format ROM file.
 * Emulates Dragon 32, Dragon 64 or CoCo architecture depending on ROM
      file used.
 * Keyboard mapping of special characters will not be as marked on PC
      keyboard.
 * Press F1 or CTRL-ALT-DEL for reset (hold SHIFT if cold reset required).
 *    Press F12 to exit.
 * Use cursor keys for joystick emulation, and CTRL/ALT keys for fire
      buttons.
 * Semi-graphics video modes are implemented.
 *    A selection of 32 bytes/line hi-res graphics modes are implemented.
 * TIMER interrupt is implemented but not 100% accurate.
 * All peripherals not mentioned here are not yet implemented.
 * Use the left ALT key (or Num Lock) to access the following features:
           speed control (ALT-S)
           artifacting control (ALT-A)
           text colour control (ALT-T)
           cursor mapping (ALT-C)
           pause (ALT-P)
           hold (ALT-H)
           version (ALT-V).
 * This version fixes DAA & U stack bugs which were present in version 0.1.

You are now invited to try T3! Please report any bugs encountered to
the author at e-mail address burginp@logica.com.

USAGE RESTRICTIONS - IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

T3 v0.5 is released to the public domain. It may be used and distributed
without charge, but MUST NOT be uploaded to any other archive site or bulletin
board. I would like http://public.logica.com/~burginp/t3.html to remain the
only distribution point for test releases of T3. Once I am sufficiently
satisfied with T3 for a v1.0 release I shall upload it to SimTel and allow
uploads elsewhere.
